To enable us to provide our clients with the type of personal attention they deserve, we are extremely careful to limit the number and type of cases that we handle. We will not take on a new client unless we firmly believe that we can provide that client with high quality legal representation.
In our view, an integral part of providing our clients with effective representation is being accessible whenever our clients have concerns on their minds. We return phone calls promptly, and we schedule regular face-to-face meetings in order to keep our clients informed of all developments in their cases. We are careful to provide our clients with copies of all correspondence and court documents, and we pride ourselves on the attention we provide to our clients’ questions and concerns.
We are pleased to represent clients of all socioeconomic levels. To ensure the accessibility of our legal services, we offer a sliding-scale fee structure that provides for reduced legal fees for individuals of limited means where appropriate.
Our objective is to negotiate workable and creative solutions in even the most complex cases. Our negotiation strategies enable us to achieve results for our clients at a fraction of the expense and time associated with litigation.
While we strongly advocate a negotiated result whenever possible, we recognize that an out-of-court solution is not possible in every case. When litigation is warranted, we bring the full strength of our courtroom expertise to bear. We have the resources to pursue such cases from inception through trial, and on to the appeal level if necessary, in order to achieve the best possible results for our clients.
We understand that in family law matters in particular, the uncertainty of the legal process can be unbearable. We place the full weight of our resources behind achieving results for our clients as expeditiously as possible, whether through reasoned negotiation or aggressive litigation. We do so because we understand that finality and closure are critical to enabling our clients to put the legal process behind them and move on with their lives.
Our firm is extraordinarily sensitive to cost management. We make every effort to provide our clients with a realistic assessment of our fees at the outset of every case, and we keep our clients regularly apprised of legal costs as they accrue.
We consistently advise our clients on the most cost-effective means to resolve their disputes. Where it does not make economic sense to pursue a legal course of action, we frankly tell our clients that our legal fees will not justify the outcome. We never file a complaint, make a motion, or take any other legal step without first considering whether there is a more economical route to achieving the desired result.
